Hoda Kotb is an Egyptian-American Journalist, Author and TV personality known for appearing on NBC’s Today Morning show as the leading news anchor. She also works as a co-anchor on one of NBC’s entertainment-focused fourth-hour news segments.

Hoda even serves as a correspondent on NBC”s television news magazine program called Dateline. Before NBC, Hoda worked as a news anchor and reporter for WXVT, WQAD, WINK and WWL News.

Kotb is of Egyptian descent but she was born in Oklahoma, USA and grew up in Morgantown, West Virginia.
