Hurricane Dana packed quite a wallop.

WABC-TV weatherman Bill Evans claims a whirlwind beating from estranged wife Dana left him with a clawed crotch and a bruised backside as their marital cold front gave way to a hot-blooded brawl.

The savage spouse “grabbed the waistband of his underwear and reached for his scrotum with her free hand, subsequently scratching it.

. .which resulted in bleeding,” according to court papers.

She then beat him across the buttocks with a wooden hanger until it broke, leaving a 4-inch, black and blue mark, said the statement given by Bill Evans to Greenwich, Conn., police.

The details emerged Tuesday as both appeared separately in Superior Court in Stamford, where orders of protection barring each from contact with the other were reaffirmed.

Evans, 52, a veteran of 24 years on local television, left the courthouse without comment.

But in court papers, the Channel 7 meteorologist charged that his wife fought dirty as their bitter div
